3/18/10
Spring Break 2010
High Island, Texas

First of all I want to thank GOD for such a wonderful day on the beach with good friends, family and safe return too all their far away destinations. I had visitors come all the way from Lubbock (Texas Tech) to see if we can get one lucky girl onto her first BULL RED! Lucky because we got her onto that said fish and she is soon too be our daughter-in-law. We got off to a late start and kept Bullmaster waiting on us. Sorry bro it takes time to get all these girls ready. :laughing7: We met up around 11ish and had our baits in the water shortly afterwards. It did not take long for Allen's rod to start to bounce and we had a FISH ON! Allen let Ashley take the rod and preceded to land here first big fish off the sand. She was amazed how such a big fish can be caught right off the beach with casted baits. Ashley and Anthony!

Big Lou showed and had some live mullet he had caught in the surf. Lou also showed me a long distance casting rod the may get me interested in another sickness! Like a used car salesmen he also let me test drive it. Not fair my friend. :icon_scratch: After an our or so my rod bends over and Anthony hurried over to see what was at the end of the line.

By this time it was around 2:30 and Lou and Allen headed out. The tide started to drop and the catching really started to pick up. Take a look! Anthony with a 34" BU. Smallest fish of the day.

Priscilla catches herself a very nice bull red!

Chillin!

Andie had to get into the action so she took the next fish. All of a sudden another rod at the end of camp bens over. Can you say double? 43" for Andie and 42 for Ashley. Nice catch girls!

Later in the day after all had at least on fish I decided to take a rod that was bent over like a twig. After a long hard fight I bring in the largest fish of the day. This very nice 45 incher. A bit skinnier that the one joe caught last weekend but nice none the less.

Andie on a rod!

We were about to leave and putting up poles when Anthony hooks on to this 44" beast.

Catching started when the tide started moving and we even saw bait in the water when we left. In all we caught 7 Bull reds and 1 BU ranging from 34 to 45". All on casted crab.

Team C.B.F. scores again!

I thank God for blessings he has given this family!
